So Canyon just started Karate-Kung Fu last night and it was so fun to watch. Jagger followed along doing the moves while Todd was holding him. She was a little timid at first but warmed up by the end. I have to admit she looked pretty dang cute in that uniform. She did get a little scared a few times when her instructor was yelling out the moves. She told us "I think I like girl teachers better". She just finished gymnastics a few weeks ago and misses that a lot so we will probably put her back in that soon. Let the over-scheduling begin!

Trying to catch up!
A few milestones for Cardin: She got her ears pierced a few weeks ago, she rolls over, cooing and laughing lots, and her first two teeth. She is such a delightful baby, but growing up way to fast.
So here is my pathetic story on why we don't have any cute Christmas morning pictures. Every year sweet Todd works so hard to have everything set up just perfect for the kids to come down and be surprised. And he is very eager to document it all. I however want to just soak up the moment and not worry about the perfect picture or getting the right angle.
I am admitting that Todd does know best. Because year after year I tell him to not worry about the pictures we will get them later, and we don't. So better to not soak up the moment and have beautiful memories to look at later rather then a few random shots of destroyed wrapping paper.
My big brother Brandon(far right), just enlisted in the army and took off to boot camp on Dec 28. We are so proud of his choice to serve but he will be missed by all of us, especially his wife Tammy and their 3 boys.
Cardin exhausted from all the holiday activities
This was our weekend getaway to Huntington Beach CA over the weekend of Dec 13. We went for Todd's work Christmas party. My sweet friend Larissa watched all of our kids for the night. It was such a nice, relaxing weekend. We hung out with friends the Mallory's and the Ashton's.
